FAQ

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. We encourage our guests to dress to impress! Ladies, floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses are perfect. Gentlemen, tuxedos or dark suits are preferred. Please avoid wearing white or ivory.

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. Please refer to your invitation for details.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration. We hope this gives you a night off to enjoy!

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at The Builders BLDG, a beautiful historic venue with a stunning four-story atrium, marble floors, and grand staircase.

There are several parking garages within walking distance of The Builders BLDG. We recommend using rideshare services for convenience.

Doors open at 4:30 PM for a 5:00 PM ceremony start. We kindly ask that guests arrive early to allow time for check-in and seating.

Yes! We'll have an open bar featuring cocktails, wine, and beer throughout the evening.

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony so you can be fully present with us. Our photographer will capture all the special moments, and we'll share photos with everyone afterward.

Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Chicago is served by O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) airports. Both have easy train access to downtown. The venue is located in River North, walking distance from many downtown hotels.

Yes! Our wedding weekend coincides with the Chicago Air & Water Show (August 15–16), the largest free show of its kind in the U.S. If you're extending your stay, it's a wonderful way to enjoy Sunday along the lakefront. Just note that hotels in the area may book up faster than usual, so we recommend reserving early.
